Thieves!!!

They went onto my porch at about 10pm last night... and stole a once beautiful tree right out of its pot!! I took the pictures for evidence to use against them in doggy court.

"Come on Jaz, before mom sees!"

"We're almost there Jaz!"

"Out of sight, out of mind..."

Here lies the pot in which the tree used to sit.

A Romp In The Woods

Another walk in Woodstock. Jasmine swears its not too cold to swim, even though its February!!!

On another note, Jasmine did very well in class tonight. I've found she likes having three jumps in a row instead of just one. And weaves, no problem! I think once we move outside again she'll do even better. Perhaps I'll get some more ribbons at the fun match.

Kids & Dogs

Life is good with kids and dogs. What else could be more sweet? And no she's not mine, I prefer the four legged kind!! ;)
For a little pms rant.. I love these breeders that think they're perfect. They have 28 registered AKC dogs and only 3 with a title. But they're great eh?
My dogs are perfect in my eyes, and also to all the people that know them. I wouldn't trade them for your field champ or show champ any day.

Lots of Snow!!

We are finally getting real snow here in the Hudson Valley. Got about 5-6 inches last night. Right now it's freezing rain pellets with high winds... tonight we should get a few more inches as well as freezing rain. It's GREAT! ;) Nothing like what Oswego has though. Of course everyone had to buy their milk & bread last night because... we're never going to get out you know.

In Memory of Checkers

~Checkers~
2001 - 2007

This post is in memory of mine and Riley's good friend Checkers. He was a 6 year old springer/cocker spaniel mix. He was the runt of his litter. A fabulous little dog. He loved people, dogs, everybody! And had quite a nose. Checkers had a freak accident last week and had to be put to sleep. We will miss you very much Checkers. You were a good boy.
~When The Time Comes~
If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then will you do what must be done,
For this--the last battle--can't be won.
You will be sad I understand,
But don't let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.
We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn't want me to suffer so.
When the time comes, please, let me go.
Take me to where my needs they'll tend,
Only, stay with me till the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree
It is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don't grieve that it must be you
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close--we two--these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.

Shelter Dogs

Now, in no way am I advertising Pedigree, or do I support their food (I think its one of the worst out there besides Ol Roy) but its a great commercial to bring awareness to shelter dogs. So click play, and have a tissue at hand.

If you'd like to help your local shelter or SPCA, you don't need to buy Pedigree to do so. What you can do is go out and buy a bag of food, toys, some treats, a bed or even bring your old blankets in for donation. Shelters are always in need of things like paper towels, stamps & envelopes, cleaning products, laundry towels, and of course money. Any donation no matter how big or small can help.
