Spring is here!

Finally, winter is over and spring is here. The pups have loved being able to go for a walk every day. We haven't been able to get to our trails lately because the snow hadn't even been plowed. Yesterday we did a trip to the lake. Although the lake is still partly frozen, the rest of the reserve was gorgeous. They even got to play with a friend named Kody!

The cats have also been enjoying this beautiful weather. They have an enclosure they can get to from their kitty room so they can safely enjoy the great outdoors.

Catch The Snow!

Jasmine has discovered a new fun game called, catching the snow! Guess she's been watching Riley and finally decided it must be fun. She looks too silly doing it too.

Riley is also enjoying the surplus of snow. Hopefully it all melts now that it's officially spring. He got a new haircut for the season.

They've also been enjoying the new birdfeeder I put up. I guess they think I put it up for them instead of the birds. Every time they go outside, they go running like the wind towards the feeder and flush the poor birds. Well Jasmine does anyway. Riley prefers the bigger guys ;)

Pet Food Recall

60 Million cans/pouches of dog & cat food are being recalled. Most are brands I'd never think of feeding, but millions of people do feed it to their pets. Iams, Eukanuba, Mighty Dog by Purina, Ol Roy, Authority, Nutro, and Science Diet are just a few of the foods being recalled.

If your pet has ate any of these foods within the last few months, call your vet immedietly and do NOT feed anymore of the food. It is being recalled because it causes kidney failure, which is killing dogs and cats.

Kids & Dogs Part 2

Well there is surely nothing Riley loves more than kids! Kenny was sick most of the weekend, Riley rarely left his side.
